First silicone Arabella

Wow wow wow wow wow, was all I could say when I opened Angies email today!

I am so pleased with everything about this baby, Angie did a FANTASTIC job on my babies.

So here are the first images of Arabella.

I woke up this morning to find an email from Angie with pictures of Emilio in it!

I was so excited, I ran around the house showing him off to everyone!

They were all like "Wow he's so CUTE".

I am extremely pleased with how he came out, Angela is doing an excellent job!

Arabella is in the molding process now, I cant wait to see how she turns out!  

Colliii Tv!

A few weeks ago I was contacted by James of Colliii.com asking if I would like to do an interview for Colliii tv.

I said I would be honored so a couple of weeks later James and Petra gave me a call!

At the time of the phone call I had a terrible throat infection and kept losing my voice.     Needless to say the video came out okay.

Well...

Its Christmas eve!! Yesterday I got an email from Angela saying the limbs had arrived...on a good note the hands arrived safely and on a bad note the legs did not, a massive crack through each ankle.

Angela gave me the options to have them sent back or she could attempt repairing them.

So I asked for her to fix them, she has and they are perfect!

Angela you are a legend! I appreciate everything you are doing for me so so much.

She said she is going try and have them cast and poured by the first week of next month.

I cant wait to see them!

A little merry update

Its getting so close to Christmas!  I received an email from Angela today saying although the limbs aren't there yet she is going to start molding the heads of Arabella and Emilio today! Only days away from Christmas and this wonderful artist is still working.

Also an update on the tracking of the limbs...

Your item arrived at the international processing centre

in MELBOURNE at 22:51 on 18 Dec 2009,

and is ready for processing.

Praying the limbs make it there safely, I should have my babies home very soon :) 

Slight delay in production...

I had sent Arabella and Emilio off to Angela a couple of weeks ago, unfortunately three out of four of the limbs had been damaged quite badly in the post. I had Angela send them back to me so I could try and replicate the broken pieces. The new limbs came up a little bit different, but I like them more than the originals I adored.

The new limbs were sent express to Angela today, so I will be praying they make it there safely! It is extremely difficult to see something you have put so many hours into destroyed.

Babies for 2010

These are the first glimpses of my silicone editions for 2010.

They are being cast and poured by Angela Harris in America.

I am thinking I would like to do them in small editions of just ten each.

The sleepers name is Arabella and the awake baby was named Emilio.
